Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform comic and dramatic characters. Alongside romantic roles, he also was a part of action films and thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when the age of his teens and attempted stand-up comedy while young men. The comedian had a lousy career but this paved the way for his successful acting career. Inability to make it as a comic, he took on a position as cameraman on television at a cable station. He realized that his true interest was front of the camera when he was working at the station. A television role was secured and he appeared on several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and was a huge hit in the world of television. He embarked on an acting career in film with huge goals and gained a lot of fame with his comedic roles. The actor gained further recognition for his portrayal of the famous character from Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up as an actress and began working in productions and directed films. His performance in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and prizes.
